last 17 years has been as a direct result of the people who have joined
the bindery family. Whether they came to us as an intern or were sent
over from a temp agency, we have grown to over 35 employees. Each

PIA of New York State
Printing Industries of America (PIA) recently announced the Top 10 states with the most job openings in the graphic arts and printing industry. California headed the list with 7,716 openings recorded in 1998. New York was the second leading state with 6,307 openings, followed by Illinois with 5,827.
"This report demonstrates once again the geographic spread of the industry," says Ron Davis, Chief Economist of PIA. "Unlike many other manufacturing industries, the graphic arts industry is not highly concentrated in 1 or 2 regions of the country. Job opportunities abound in every state of the Union."
"The graphic arts industry is truly the 'sleeping giant' in today's job markets," says Davis. "Few industries can boast of the widespread opportunities available to those interested in pursuing a career in graphic arts".
